AT&T and cingular, whichever you like to call the telecommunications giant, are one of the most popular cell services in the Sacramento area. Looked into a contract and broke your phone with no insurance? This happens far to often we have noticed. Here are a few tips we came up with. The simplest solution would be to buy a new phone but you didn't come here to look for that answer. But as long as it is an AT&T phone it will work.
- Check on craigslist, either for a used AT&T phone or a phone that is "unlocked," use keywords like GSM, Unlocked, AT&T, and cellphone and compare what comes up in your search
-Use ebay as a great tool both to research and to buy. Change the location setting to find phones within driving distance or try to get free shipping from the seller.
-Check out the AT&T Website for pay as you go phones,
they are often on sale, don't require a contract, and are probably
comparable to what you already had ( unless it was a blackberry :)
